🏑 For Hockey Players Who Have Just Played In A Tournament...

Turn Your Last Tournament Into A Clear Plan So You Play With More Confidence & Consistency In Your Next Game, Season or Tournament

Use my post tournament review process to identify what worked, what held you back and the 3 priorities that'll make the biggest difference before your next game, season or tournament.

So you can train with purpose, perform better under pressure and give yourself the best shot at selection, more game time, more goals or becoming the player your team relies on.

You’ve finished a tournament that you've spent months preparing for…

And now you’re left with a pile of thoughts.

Some good.

Some frustrating.

Some moments you keep replaying because you know you could have handled them differently.

Maybe the result didn’t go your way.

Maybe it did, and you still can’t quite explain why parts of your game felt so good under pressure.

Either way, the experience has something valuable to teach you.

You just need a way to pull those lessons out before the details fade and next season rolls around with the same patterns still sitting there.

The Post-Tournament Reflection Workshop Replay gives you a practical, guided way to look back properly, make sense of what happened, and turn it into a clear development plan for your next competitive window.

You’ll get instant access to the full workshop replay, plus the downloadable 8-page reflection worksheet to complete as you watch.

You don’t need to carry a tough result into your next season

I know how easy it is to either move on too quickly…

Or stay stuck in the bits that hurt.

After a tournament, players often land in one of two places:

They barely reflect at all because life gets busy, training starts again and the tournament becomes a blur.

Or they go over one mistake, one loss, one coaching decision or one frustrating game until it starts to define the whole experience.

Neither gives you much to work with.

This workshop helps you slow down long enough to see the full picture.

What genuinely went well.

What broke down under pressure.

What was in your control.

And what needs your attention before the next time you step onto the pitch.

Because a tournament result is one moment in time.

Your response to it can shape everything that comes next.

A reflection process built for hockey players who want to keep improving

I’ve used this kind of process after my own tournaments, from nationals to international level, including the Masters World Cups.

That includes processing a Gold medal in 2024 and more recently, a 13th-place finish at the 2026 World Cup.

Both experiences had lessons in them.

Both needed honest reflection.

And the 2026 tournament came with plenty to unpack. I was co-captain, dealing with illness and a chest infection, managing leadership pressure, trying to perform and working through the off-field challenges that come with a major international tournament.

It would have been easy to write the whole thing off as disappointing.

But that wouldn’t have helped me become a better player, teammate or leader.

So I reflected properly.

I separated the result from my performance. I looked at where my preparation held up and where it didn’t. I got clear on what I could take forward.

That’s the process I walk you through inside this workshop.

I’m not sharing a textbook exercise from the sidelines.

I’m sharing the structure I use as someone who has competed, coached, led, won, lost and had to find a useful way forward from all of it.

INSIDE THE WORKSHOP

You'll Get Lauren’s 5 Part Structured Reflection Framework

Your 8 page worksheet guides you through each part as you watch, so you’ll finish with your own notes and a clear next-step plan.

Part 1: The Big Picture

Start by separating the team result from your personal experience.

You’ll look at how you wanted to show up, how you actually performed, and what the tournament meant to you beyond the final placing.

A tough result can hide a lot of progress and a great result can hide things that need attention.

Part 2: Personal Performance

You’ll reflect across the four areas that shape your hockey performance.

You’ll identify what held up when it mattered, where the cracks appeared and the patterns worth paying attention to.

This starts with a question athletes often skip. You need a full picture before you start deciding what to improve.

Part 3: Preparation

What did you do well before the competition?

Where did your preparation meet reality and struggle a bit?

You’ll look at training, recovery, routines, mindset and the things that affected how ready you felt when the whistle went.

Part 4: Challenges & Obstacles

Every tournament has them.

Unexpected injuries. Travel issues. Team dynamics. Nerves. Illness. A game that goes sideways early and takes a while to mentally recover from.

This section helps you sort through what you could control and what you couldn’t, then turn your biggest challenges into useful lessons you can carry forward.

Part 5: Your Action Plan

You’ll finish by choosing a small number of specific development priorities for your next cycle.

No vague promise to “train harder.”

You’ll leave knowing where to put your energy, what needs to change, and what your next step looks like.

That clarity is worth a lot when the next season starts moving quickly.

FAQS

“My tournament was weeks ago. Is it too late?”

Nope. The details may feel less sharp than they did straight after the final game, but the lessons are still there.

Often, a little space helps you see the experience more clearly anyway. This process works whether you’ve just stepped off the pitch or you’ve had a few weeks to sit with the result.

And it applies to far more than an international tournament.

Use it after:

• A club season that left you frustrated

• Trials or selection disappointment

• A regional or national tournament

• A big match you can’t stop thinking about

• A competition that went brilliantly and deserves to be understood properly

If the experience mattered to you, it’s worth taking the time to learn from it.

“Can’t I just think about it myself?”

Of course you can, but an unstructured reflection tends to drift toward whatever emotion is loudest that day.

You either focus on the negatives, skim over the good bits, or tell yourself you’ll come back to it later. Then later becomes never.

And by the time the next season arrives, you’re training hard again without having extracted the lessons that could have made that training smarter.

The worksheet gives you somewhere to start.

The replay gives you the questions, coaching context and structure to work through it properly.

This is a real workshop, with real coaching conversations

You won’t just hear me talking at you for 90 minutes.

This is the recording of a live workshop, including coaching exchanges with players working through their own tournament experiences.

You’ll hear the questions that came up, the ways players reframed difficult moments and how specific development areas started to emerge during the session.

Sometimes someone else’s situation gives you the words for something you’ve been trying to make sense of yourself.

Crazy, right?
